Catherine Battocletti “Pearl” Catherine Battocletti’s most recent credits include The Secret Garden (Mrs. Medlock), Stages Theatre, Fezziwig’s Feast (Mrs. Fezziwig/Ghost of Christmas Present), Actor’s Theatre, The Who’s Tommy (Acid Queen), Pioneer Place Theatre-St Cloud, Vampires! Horror! 	Laurie Fannigan-Hegge “Elsie” Laurie Flanigan-Hegge is an actress and a playwright. Her new musicals Hormel Girls and Twenty Days to Find a Wife premiered at the History Theatre in St. Paul, where her latest project, Grandfather Bear, is currently in development. Onstage, she was most recently seen in Joan of Arc at Nautilus Music-Theatre and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story at the History Theatre. She was a company member at the American Folklore Theatre in Door County for twelve years, where her new musicals Loose Lips Sink Ships and See Jane Vote made their premieres and she shared the stage with her real-life husband Jon. She is delighted to play opposite him again. Laurie is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
	Jon Hegge “Art” Jon Andrew Hegge received his MFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota. He has toured extensively around the United States in The Odd Couple, The Sunshine Boys, and Same Time Next Year. For six years he was a company member of American Folklore Theatre (AFT) in Door County, WI, where he appeared in several world premiere musicals including See Jane Vote, Loose Lips Sink Ships, and Muskie Love. Guthrie Theatre credits include six seasons of A Christmas Carol and 1776. Recent credits include Ragtime at Park Square, Beauty and the Beast at the Ordway Theatre, Mulan Jr. at Children's Theatre Company, All Shook Up at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and On The Town at Skylark Opera. Jon is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.
	Kim Kivens “Millie” A voice-over and on-camera talent for radio/television, Kim was last on stage at the Ordway’s McKnight Theatre with Theater Latte Da’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona). Other recent performances were at the Illusion with Minneapolis Musical Theatre’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Muriel) and at the Dowling Studio in the Guthrie in Mu Performing Art’s Yellow Face (Miles, Jane, etc.). Favorite roles: mom to Lily and wife to Joe.
	David Roberts “Oscar” David Roberts is very happy to be working on this show. Over the years working on new scripts has become one of his favorite things. David has been working as an actor in the Twin Cities most of his life. Some recent credits include work with The Illusion Theatre, the History Theatre, the Jungle Theatre and The Plymouth Playhouse. This summer David can be found in Medora, North Dakota playing Teddy Roosevelt in The Medora Musical. He can also be seen in the holiday favorite, All Is Calm, this December at the Pantages Theatre in downtown Minneapolis.
	Lizzie Schwarzrock “Audrey” Lizzie Schwarzrock is very excited to be a part of Deal! The Musical. Lizzie recently completed an apprenticeship with Actors Theatre of Louisville. Previous credits include The End as a part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays, A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story, What the Butler Saw, Freak Show, and Love's Labour's Lost.
	Aly Westberg “Julie” Aly is happy to be able to put her musical theater B.F.A to good use for this show! She's also had the pleasure of playing Maria in The Sound of Music, traveling to Istanbul to perform in Footloose, and currently acting a fool in the sketch comedy Bye Bye Liver: The Twin Cities Drinking Play.
	Max Wojtanowicz “Clint” Max is very excited to be a part of Deal! A native of Rice, MN, and a graduate of St. Olaf College, Max has worked with many theaters around town including the Children's Theatre Company, Nautilus Music-Theater, Guthrie Theater, Frank Theatre, Theatre Latte Da, Minneapolis Musical Theatre, Urban Samurai, Workhouse Theatre and The Strange Capers. Tom Broadbent, Playwright/Composer

Tom Broadbent has been writing music for 30 years. He lives with his family in the town of Two Harbors, Minnesota. Tom started writing musicals when his children were in grade school. Their teachers were struggling to find quality materials for the kids to perform and became enthusiastic partners in bringing these productions to the stage. The Story of Henrietta, I’ve Got My Eyes On Betty’s Pies, and Pickin’ the Bones of Grampa Jones have been performed in schools and community theaters in Greater Minnesota.
Tom is excited to share the story of his family and the poker game he grew up watching.

Jerry Seifert, Playwright

Jerry has over fifty years of theatre experience starting as a dancer in St. Louis, MO, in the 50's to college and university theatre teaching and directing by the 70's. He has directed over a hundred shows, along with acting, producing and playwriting. He has had his own plays produced at Stages Theatre, Hopkins, MN, Portland and Eugene, OR. Twice he has had plays selected for staged readings by Edward Albee’s National Playwright Conferences , and he was one of the playwrights contributing to History Theatre’s recent Stars and Stripes Forever production.

Currently, Jerry’s musical adaptation of Secret Garden had its 2nd production this April at Stages Theatre. In addition he is working on two more musical theatre projects. He is a member of the national Dramatists Guild and the Playwrights Center here in Minneapolis.

Joshua James Campbell, Director

Kurt Larsen, Producer

This is Kurt’s first musical theater production after having recently left the corporate world where he worked for Best Buy Company for 20 years, most recently as General Manager for Bestbuy.com. Kurt also was a partner at National Talent Associates, a talent management agency in Minneapolis, as well as Program Director and on-air talent at KQDS Radio in Duluth.

Jim Foltz, Executive Producer

Jim is a passionate song-man who has been writing song lyrics for over 30 years. Besides his writing, he is the head of Tyrol Hills Music which has produced the Minnesota Morning instrumental CD series which has sold over 100,000 CDs, the children’s musical “Henrietta” by Tom Broadbent, and the Robert Robinson CD, “I Believe.” “DEAL!” is its latest musical production.

Kyle Ross Thomas, Music Director

Kyle Ross Thomas is thrilled to be a part of Deal: The Musical. A graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, Kyle has had the opportunity to Direct, Music Direct, and Choreograph productions such as "Company," "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," "Oklahoma," "5 Women Wearing the Same Dress," as well as music directing the world premiere of "Pharaoh's New Robe's" His work has also been seen in Kansas City with MTYP in "Children of Eden," "White Christmas," and "13." He recently finished "Narnia: the Musical" with YAI.

Shane Keister, Arranger

Shane is an accomplished arranger, producer, composer and musician. He has worked with such music legends as Paul McCartney, Elvis Presley, and Chips Moman. He spent years in New York as a staff producer under Atlantic Record’s legendary music mogul Ahmet Ertegun. He is a member of the Musician’s Hall of Fame and has been twice nominated for a Grammy. Shane now resides in Nashville where he continues to be one of the most sought after talents in the industry.

Sharon Kimes, Production Manager

Prior production management experience has been at Theater Latté Da, Mixed Blood Theatre, and Stages Theatre Company. Stage Management experience includes: Ordway Center: 2011-2012 Songbook Series, The Rocky Horror Show, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella (assistant stage manager). Guthrie Theater: The Burial at Thebes (assistant stage manager). Theater Latté Da: Violet, The Full Monty, All Is Calm, Passage of Dreams, Old Wicked Songs. Minnesota Orchestra: Peer Gynt, Mass, The Magic Flute. Stages Theatre Company: Honk!, Seussical, Romeo and Juliet, Lord of the Flies. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Rachel Ostroot, Stage Manager

Rachel is a thespian who was born and bred in Minnesota. She has a BA in Theatre from Winona State (2009), where she participated in over 20 shows. She’s completed stage management internships with the Guthrie (Arsenic & Old Lace, Costume Ball Gala) & the Children’s Theatre (Wizard of Oz). She was most recently seen stage managing at Open Window Theatre’s production of The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Chad Van Kekerix, Set Designer

Chad is is a freelance designer and scenic artist in the Twin Cities. Recent designs include Cinderella, Yankee Doodle and Love, Janis for the Ordway Center, Anatomy of Gray and Hamlet for Theatre in the Round, Blue at Penumbra and Metamorphoses at Mounds Park Academy. Chad is excited to be working on a new “Deal”!

Rien Schlecht, Costume Designer

Rien is very excited to be a part of Deal! She has recently moved back to Minneapolis after spending seven years in New York City and is happy to be in the Midwest again. New York Credits: off-Broadway: Elizabeth Rex (Nicu's Spoon); Macbeth, Measure for Measure, Notes From Underground, Love is My Sin, Othello, Hamlet, The Jew of Malta, Merchant of Venice (Theatre For a New Audience), and many more.

Jennifer DeGolier, Lighting Designer

Jennifer is thrilled to be collaborating on Deal the musical. She has designed shows at many venues including; McKnight Theater, Southern Theater, Mixed Blood Theater, The Ritz Theater, Pillsbury House Theater, Theater in the Round, Illusion Theater, Loring Playhouse, Red Eye Theater, and The Theater Garage. Jennifer has taught and designed with students at Stepping Stone Theater, Bloomington Kennedy High School, Susan B Anthony Middle School, Mounds Park Academy, North Central University, and Augsburg College. She was resident designer for Theater Latte Da for a number of years designing, A Man of No Importance, Gypsy, Floyd Collins, La Boheme, King of Hearts, and most recently Passage of Dreams. Jennifer was the Lighting designer for the 2005 IVY award winning production of La Boheme.

Chris Carpenter, Technical Director

Chris has been a carpenter for over ten years with theatre companies such as The Children's Theatre Company and Penumbra Theatre Company. He has been a Technical Director for area high schools for nearly 10 years working on many productions that have included "The Wizard of Oz", "Sweeny Todd", and "The Sound of Music". Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato in Theatre Design and Production.

Collin Sherraden, Sound Engineer

Collin currently works as a sound engineer at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to his current job he spent the last year touring the country with Curious George Live! and Sesame Street Live. Collin has been working for different theater and dance companies throughout the twin cities for the past 10 years and is excited to be a part of Deal!
